Downtown Rock Hill will soon have a new coffee shop.
Augello’s Coffeehouse and Delicatessen will open on the site of the former Rock Hill Roasting Company in Old Town Rock Hill in mid-November, according to a press release issued by the city of Rock Hill.
Augello’s Coffeehouse and Delicatessen, located in City Plaza along Elk Avenue at 140 East Main St., will offer a wide variety of coffees, pastries and sandwiches. The business is scheduled to be open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours for special events.
Augello’s Coffeehouse and Delicatessen will offer free Wi-Fi, and also delivery and catering.
“The City of Rock Hill is pleased to welcome Augello’s to Old Town Rock Hill,” City Manager Carey Smith said in the release. “This restaurant provides another venue to the exciting momentum happening in Old Town Rock Hill. On behalf of both the City and the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation, we welcome Augello’s Coffeehouse and Delicatessen as our newest member of the Old Town family.”
Assistance for Augello’s Coffeehouse and Delicatessen was provided through the Downtown Now program, which has been instrumental in bringing a range of new businesses to the Old Town corridor, Downtown Development Manager David Lawrence said.
