AME ZION

Cedar Grove AME Zion Church, East Chapel Road, Rock Hill: Family and Friends concert with the Men of Zion and the Boyd Hill Male Choir, 5 p.m. today.

Chestnut Grove AME Zion Church: The congregation will hold Sunday worship services at Living Water Outreach Ministry at the corner of Hudson and Lancaster streets in Chester for the nextix weeks until the move to the new sanctuary.

Foundation AME Zion Church, Neely Store Road, Rock Hill: Free community lunch for those 55 and older, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Each person attending is asked to bring a new toy or child's hat, gloves or socks to the luncheon.

Liberty Hill AME Zion Church, Lake Wylie: Reconstructing the Family conference, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. Nov. 21 and 10 a.m. worship Nov. 22. Session will be for marriage enrichment, singles, youth and children. Free and open to the public.

United AME Zion Church, Steele Street, Fort Mill: The Rev. Victor C. Wilson will celebrate his 16th year in the ministry at 2 p.m. Nov. 28.

ARP

Ebenezer ARP Church, Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill: Salt and Light Day, 8:30 a.m. to noon today for service and outreach projects. Family youth group, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

First ARP Church, East White Street, Rock Hill: Lord's Supper celebrated at 8 and 11 a.m. worship Sunday. Toys for Tots and nonperishable food items for HOPE are being collected this month. MOPS (Mothers of Pre-schoolers), 9:15 a.m. Thursday.

Neely's Creek ARP Church, Rock Hill: Samaritan's Purse show box gift collection is Sunday. The gifts will be dedicated at 6:30 p.m. worship. Neely's Creekers, 10 a.m. Tuesday to go to WOW Furniture and lunch at the Wagon Wheel in Fort Lawn. Meet at the church.

BAPTIST

Rock Hill Deacon's Union and Auxiliaries: Annual day program continues at 6 tonight at Trinity Baptist Church, Crawford Road, Rock Hill. A workshop was Friday.

Operation Christmas Child: Local collection sites for filled shoe boxes will be Monday through Nov. 23 at the following sites:

First Baptist Church, 481 Hood Center Drive, Rock Hill: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday; 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday; 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 21; noon to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 22; and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 23.

Eastview Baptist Church, 1430 Gordon Road, Rock Hill: 8 to 11 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday; 8 to 11 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday; 8 to 11 a.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 21; 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 22; and 7 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 23.

In 2008, the Rock Hill area contributed 14,723 to the Operation Christmas Child effort. This year, organizers hope to collect 21,500 gift-filled shoe boxes from families, children, churches, schools and civic organizations in the area.

Bible Baptist Church, U.S. 21 Bypass, Fort Mill: Three missionaries will speak at the church on Sunday. They are: Larry Owens, missionary to Sierra Leon, at 10 a.m.; Jim Peolman, missionary to China, at 11 a.m.; and Brett Skillen, missionary to the U.S. Military in Europe, at 6 p.m. The community is welcome.

Boyd Hill Baptist Church, Glenn Street, Rock Hill: Annual scholarship program, 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22. Free Thanksgiving meal for those in need, Nov. 26. Call the church, 803-327-2422, for more information.

Cross Road Baptist Church, Eden Terrace Extension, Rock Hill: Minister's, Deacon's and Trustee's Wives anniversary, morning worship Sunday, spotlighting Children's Church.

First Baptist Church, South Congress Street, York: Brunch with Santa, 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the fellowship hall. Cost is $6 per child and includes a picture with Santa, meal, crafts and a Christmas story. Adult meals are $6. There are a limited amount of tickets, and they can be purchased from 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in the fellowship hall or from PassportKids Campers. Proceeds will go to the children's mission camp.

Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Columbia Road, Chester: Hymn Choir anniversary, 2 p.m. Sunday.
