The York County Choral Society and the Winthrop Chorale will present their spring concert at 4 p.m. April 6 at Byrnes Auditorium at Winthrop University.

Fort Mill Playhouse to present 'Mousetrap'
A drama and dessert performance of "The Mousetrap," a play by Agatha Christie, will be presented by Fort Mill Community Playhouse, 615 Banks St., Fort Mill.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. April 24 to 26 and May 1 to 3. Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for seniors and students, available online at www.fortmillplayhouse.org/ or at Crossings on Main, 102 Academy St., Fort Mill.
The play is a murder mystery about a young couple who start a hotel in a converted manor. They are snowed in with four guests and a traveler who has run his car into a snow drift.
A detective arrives on skis to inform the group that he believes a murderer is headed to the hotel. The playhouse is still seeking supporting cast members. For details, call 548-8102.
Public art is topic of Thursday forum
Winthrop University Galleries will have its second annual public art forum at 7 p.m. Thursday at Plowden Auditorium in the Withers/W.T.S. building.
Speakers are Daniel Gottlieb, director of planning and design at the North Carolina Museum of Art and Juan Logan, artist and associate professor of art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The event is free and open to the public.
Belly dancing, clogging classes offered in area
The following classes will be offered:
• The York Parks and Recreation Center, 21 White Rose Lane, is accepting registration for an adult belly dancing class. The class, for ages 15 and older, will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays, starting this week. Cost is $50 for a six-week session. For details, call 684-3742.
• Clogging classes will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. April 9 and 16 at St. John's United Methodist Church, 321 S. Oakland Ave., Rock Hill. Cathey Franklin is the instructor. Franklin is former director of the Carolina Classic Cloggers, a performance team. Participants should wear leather-soled shoes. Cost is a $3 donation to the new children's and youth building. Local barbershop group has Tuesday guest night
The Carolina Chordsmen, a Barbershop Harmony Society organization, is seeking men of all ages who like to sing. They are invited to a guest night at 7 p.m. Tuesday at First ARP Church, 201 E. White St., Rock Hill.
Guests can sing with other men in their own voice range and will hear songs by several quartets and the chorus. It is not necessary to read sheet music.
