A Rock Hill man was struck by a bullet fired on Robinson Street Sunday, police say.
A witness told police that a man in his early 20s fired four or five rounds of shots down the street toward the victim around 2:35 p.m. Sunday, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The victim, 18-year-old Nikito Patterson, was struck at least once by the spray of bullets, and he was taken to Piedmont Medical Center by a friend.
Police tracked the suspect using a K-9 unit, but officers believe he got into a car, the report says.
The suspect's mom allowed officers to search the house, where they found a gun believed to have been used in the shooting in the attic.
The suspect’s name was not released, and charges haven’t been filed.
