A Rock Hill man was struck by a bullet fired on Robinson Street on Sunday, police said.
A witness told police that a man in his early 20s fired four or five shots down the street toward the victim around 2:35 p.m. Sunday, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The victim, 18-year-old Nikito Patterson, was struck at least once by the spray of bullets. He was taken to Piedmont Medical Center by a friend. He was treated and released, the report stated.
Police tracked the suspect using a K-9 unit, but officers believe he got into a car, the report stated. The gun believed to have been used in the shooting was found in the attic of the suspect's house.
The suspect's name was not released, and no charges have been filed.

Four charged in Friday's Chester County shooting
Four Chester men were behind bars Monday in connection with the Friday gang-related shooting of another man, authorities said.
Christopher Jones was shot in the buttocks around 8 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Holmes Road, according to a report from the Chester County Sheriff's Office. Jones, of 546 Debrull Drive, also was hit in the forehead with a bottle, according to a report. He was transported by EMS to Piedmont Medical Center. Jones' age was listed as 27 to 30 on an incident report.
“The sheriff's office is working diligently to infiltrate the gangs that are responsible in these shootings and charge them appropriately,” Sheriff Richard Smith said in the release.
Four men now face charges.
Daniel Akeem Strothers, 19; Jeffrey Todd Hall Jr., 18; and Aramis Quinshon Penn, 17, have each been charged with attempted armed robbery, assault and battery with intent to kill and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Lamarcus Shina Brown, 19, has been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
All four were jailed at the Chester County Detention Center onMonday, Smith said. Bond was denied on Strothers, Smith said, but it had not been set for the other suspects Monday morning.

Two men assaulted, stabbed over cigarettes
A man was stabbed Sunday when he refused to give his cigarettes away.
A Rock Hill man was assaulted on Lucky Street around 1:20 a.m. Sunday after two men asked him for a cigarette, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The victim told police he was approached by two men wearing dark clothing, the report stated. One of the suspects asked for a cigarette, and the victim told police he replied, “You sell drugs, go buy your own cigarettes,” the report stated.
One of the men pushed the victim down and the other cut the man in the chest with a knife, the report stated. Afterward, they ran away.
The victim was taken to Piedmont Medical Center, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Earlier that morning, another man was attacked by two men who asked for cigarettes. Before 12:45 a.m., the victim said he was walking on Baskins Road when two men approached him and asked for a cigarette, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.
The victim said he told the men that he didn't have any cigarettes, the report stated. The men asked for his gold chain, and the victim told him no.
One of the men reached for his chain, and they began to fight, the report stated.
The victim was stabbed three times in the right leg, the report stated, and the two suspects ran.
No description of the suspects is available, and the report statedthat the victim did not want to cooperate with police.
The man was taken to Piedmont Medical Center for treatment.
