Blair returns as Sharon mayor, incumbents win

- The Herald

Mayor Beverly Blair will serve another term in the town of Sharon, according to tonight’s unofficial election results.

Blair won the seat with 85 total votes. She went against write-in candidate Denise Grace, whose name did not appear on the ballot. Grace captured less than 25 votes, according to elections office officials.

Four town council seats will be filled by incumbents Kathy Montgomery and Johnny B. Barnette, along with challengers Jerry Bradham and Donald K. Kropp.

Jeff Ramsey had the fewest votes and will not serve on council. Write-in candidate Lisa Bolin did not appear on the ballot.

There were no absentee votes.
