A Rock Hill man was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday while walking on Heckle Boulevard, police say.
The 76-year-old victim told police a short black man with a red bandanna over his face approached him around 6 a.m. Tuesday on South Heckle Boulevard near Saluda Street and pulled out a large black semi-automatic handgun, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The man, who is described as being around 20 years old, 5-foot, 2-inches tall, 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, pointed the gun at the victim and said “give me your money,” the report says.
The man took the victim’s wallet from his pocket and ran behind a nearby business. There wasn’t any money in the wallet, the report says.
Police are investigating the incident.
