Police say a 61-year-old Sharon man was caught selling more than 4,000 grams of marijuana from his McConnells Highway home.
Jerry Ray Decker of 4351 W. McConnells Highway was charged with trafficking marijuana and drug possession charges after an investigation by the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit.
During a search of Decker’s residence Thursday afternoon, drug agents found Decker was trafficking more than 4,600 grams of marijuana, according to a report from the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers found $68,800 in his residence and more than $4,000 in cash on Decker, the report says.
Agents also found more than 300 doses of Hydrocodone, 24 doses of Xanax, drug paraphernalia and smaller doses of other drugs, according to the reports.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle also was seized during the search.
Decker was also charged with possession with intent to distribute Hydrocodone and Xanax. Criminal records search show Decker has two prior drug convictions, the report says.
He remains at the Moss Justice Center Monday on $190,000 bond. Decker also is wanted by South Carolina Pardons, Probation and Parole.
