Rock Hill Galleria to give away $5,000 in Black Friday shopping sprees

The Rock Hill Galleria plans to give away $5,000 in shopping sprees on Black Friday.

The mall will open at 4 a.m. on Black Friday and will give away the money in five $1,000 increments to winners who will be announced every two hours from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The mall is using the free money to promote the York County Regional Chamber's "Shop York County" campaign, hoping to entice local shoppers to keep their money here instead of heading across state lines to do holiday shopping.
