Chester County women charged in Great Falls fires

CHESTER -- Two Chester County woman are in custody today police said after they set two abandoned Great Falls homes on fire.

Police charged Tera Carter and Dawn Neely, both of 7289 Heritage Road in Winnsboro with two counts of arson, second degree, Major James McNeil of the Chester County Sheriff’s Office said.

Carter and Neely surrendered to authorities today, McNeil said.

Officials are looking for a third person in connection to the fires that happened Oct. 3, 2007, he said.

Anyone with information about the location of the third person is asked to call Chester County Sheriff’s Office at 803-581-5131.
