Ebenezer Avenue

Fifth-grade graduation will be at 9:30 a.m. June 4.

Drama Club will present "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Peter Gaither broke the school's Accelerated Reader record this year with 409.6 points.

Armani Young was the top seller for the recent cookie dough fundraiser. She received an mp3 player.

Ebinport

A barbeque benefit will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday for an Ebinport teacher and her husband who have both been diagnosed with cancer. Meals will be sold for $7 a plate, and all proceeds will help pay medical bills.

Parents of first-graders are invited to an Author's Tea at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

A third-grade group will sing for the school's business partner, Williams and Fudge, at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cotton Factory. Parents are invited.

Field Day for kindergarten through third grades is Friday. All other grades will participate in Field Day on June 2. Parents interested in volunteering should contact the front office.

School Improvement Council will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Awards prorgams will be at 8:30 a.m. for kindergarteners, 9:30 a.m. for second graders, 10:30 a.m. for first-graders and 1:05 p.m. for fifth- graders, all on June 3 and 8:15 a.m. June 4 for third- and fourth-graders.

India Hook

Student artists will show and sell their work at the school's first Evening of the Arts, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 2, with performances by the chorus and Black Belt Recorder Ensemble. Light refreshments will be served.

Open house will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday for all students new to Lesslie next year and their families. Lemonade will be served in the lobby and guests may tour the building and meet the staff.

Mount Holly

Students attending Rock Hill's newest elementary school are invited to a meet and greet, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Castle Heights Middle School auditorium, with administration, faculty and staff.

Elections for the school's first PTO officers will be held and school T-shirts will be on sale.

Independence

Drama Club will present "Alice in Wonderland" at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the cafeteria. Everyone is invited. Cost is 50 cents.

Northside

Kindergarten classes will present the musical play, "Bugz," at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Northside Baptist Church for the senior adults.

Students in first through fifth grades will be recognized as the second- highest scoring school in South Carolina in "First in Math" at two assemblies, 1 and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Terrific Kids for May will be recognized at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.

Field Day is Friday.

The Fifth Grade Farewell Program will be at 1 p.m. June 4. Parents are invited.

Parents are invited to the End of Year Recognitions June 5, 8:15 a.m. for kindergarten, 9 a.m. for third and fourth grades and 10:15 a.m. for first and second grades.

Oakdale

Math Survival Camp for second- through fifth-graders will be from 8 to 11 a.m. June 16 through 19 and 23 through 26. Classes, taught by certified teachers, will focus on strengthening students' math skills through hands-on activities. Cost is $50 each week.
