Chester youth artists honored with local show
The Superintendent's Art Show Reception will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 12 at the Arts Council of Chester County, 123 Main St., Chester. The art show winners for grades kindergarten through 12 will be honored and their artwork will be on display.

Friday golf tourney to benefit York Place
The Gene Knight Play for the Child golf tournament will be at 11 a.m. Friday, with a shotgun start at Spring Lake Country Club, 1375 Spring Lake Drive, York.
The tournament will be a two-man captain's choice format and will benefit the children at York Place, a residential treatment center for children with emotional disturbances.
