Police said a Rock Hill man cooked dinner for his girlfriend before demanding sex and refusing to let her leave his house.
Authorities on Wednesday charged Travis Lamar Murray, 20, of 1153 Shanandoah Circle with kidnapping and assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, according to a report from the Rock Hill Police Department.
A 25-year-old woman told police Murray picked her up from her house and drove to his house, where he cooked her dinner. The woman later fell asleep, the report notes. When she woke up, she asked Murray to take her home. According to the report, he said no because he wanted to have sex.
The report states Murray told the woman the only way she was going to leave the bedroom was to fight her way out or have sex. The woman told police Murray grabbed her by the throat and shoved her down on the floor.
When Murray left the room, the woman hopped out a bedroom window and ran down the street. Murray later pulled up in his car and said he would take her home. The woman got in, but later left the car and began walking. She was later spotted by police, according to the report.
Bond was denied for Murray on Wednesday.
