Jamaal Murray and Tyasia Glover of Rock Hill are the parents of a daughter, Ja'Miya Qurtia Murray, born Aug. 31, 2008. Ms. Glover is the daughter of Deborah Curry of Rock Hill. Paternal grandparents are Luther H. Murray and Cynthia S. Murray, both of Rock Hill.

Cody Hammond and Amanda Hinson of Rock Hill are the parents of a son, Jayden Bryce Hammond, born Aug. 29, 2008. Ms. Hinson is the daughter of Ronald Hinson of Rock Hill and the late Judy Hinson. Paternal grandparents are Cammie Starnes and Jody Hammond, both of York.

Kevin and Sammantha Cornwell of Rock Hill are the parents of a daughter, Karmen Madison, born Aug. 31, 2008. Mrs. Cornwell is the daughter of Robert P. Smith and Amy B. Smith, both of Rock Hill. Paternal grandparents are Deborah Cooper and William Cornwell, both of Rock Hill.

Felicia Tucker of Chester is the mother of a daughter, Payton Capri Tucker, born Sept. 2, 2008. Ms. Tucker is the daughter of Joe and Teresa Hall of Chester.

Kristen Hanna of Fort Lawn is the mother of a daughter, Skylar Elizabeth Hanna, born Sept. 3, 2008. Ms. Hanna is the daughter of Angela Whitaker of Fort Lawn.
