Cameras roll as students 'earn their stripes'

A film crew from the Starcom ad agency recorded about 80 to 100 of the school's seventh- and eighth-grade physical education and dance classes as they performed their version of the song.
Videos capturing different versions of the chant are being recorded at schools, camps and events in the Carolinas and across the country, said Matthew Sharon, associate director with Starcom. The videos allow participants to celebrate their hometowns, showcase their talents and display their school spirit.
From August through December, he said, the finished videos will be posted on the Kellogg's Earn Your Stripes sports page on ESPN's Web site, www.espn.com/earnyourstripes.
