Susan Williams

Susan Lackey Williams, 54, of 1166 Crossland Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at First Baptist Church Clover. The Rev. David J Stanford will be officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Susan was a daughter of Furman W. and Duffie Peterson Lackey. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clover, S.C., and worked at Wix Afina in Gastonia, N.C.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Williams of Clover; parents, Furman W. and Duffie Lackey of Clover; son, Joshua Williams of Old Fort, N.C.; two brothers, Edward Lackey of Clover and Oren Lackey of York, S.C.; sister, Mary Benton of Clover; and grandson, Malachi Joshua Williams.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Clover in the Christian Outreach and Activity Center on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, from 3 to 4 p.m.
