closeROCK HILL -- Mrs. Kimberly Mayhew Harrington, 53, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2008.
She was born April 5, 1955, a daughter of the late Mark Julius and Gertrude Braid Mayhew. Kim and her husband, Joe, have been active members of Shield of Faith Family Church for over 25 years. Kim was over the church decorating for many different events and will be remembered as a strong leader in dance, praise and worship. Her strong belief in God allowed her to minister to many people throughout her life and she will be missed tremendously.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joe Harrington of the home; a son, Mark Harrington of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Adeleigh, Chelsea and Seth Harrington, all of Rock Hill; two sisters, Katie Allen of Rock Hill and Penelope McNutt of Calif.; and two brothers, Scott and Colin Jolly, both of Nevada.
There will be a visitation and viewing from 6 to 6:30 p.m. today at Shield of Faith Family Church, followed by a Memorial and Celebration of Life Service.
