FORT MILL -- Steven Michael Chapman, infant son of Matthew Perry Chapman and Angela Jeanne McCurry, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Charles Miller officiating.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Perry and Wanda Chapman Bailey; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Lisa McCurry; paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Chapman; maternal great-grandparents, Bud and Josephine McCurry; godgrandparents, Charles and Juanita Miller; several aunts and uncles and cousins.

God blessed us with you in our lives for eight months. You were always happy, smiling and a mommy and daddy's boy. You brought so much happiness and joy to us all. We will always love, honor and cherish you in our hearts forever.
