Freddie Burris Sr.

BRONX, N.Y. -- Mr. Freddie (Fred) Burris Sr. died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at St. Albans V.A. Hospital in St. Albans, N.Y.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in McConnells, with the Rev. George H. Lowry Jr. officiating. Burial with military honors will take place at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, N.C. Mr. Burris may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home.
