Mrs. Ruby Medlin Shull, 79, passed from this life into heaven on Friday, November 28, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia, S.C., officiated by the Rev. Steve Hogg, senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill, where Mrs. Shull was a member.
A Columbia native, Mrs. Shull will be greatly missed by her husband of 61 years, James L. Shull, and her daughters, Dr. Linda Adams and her husband, Tye Tybroski, of Marlin, Texas, and Debbie Troutman and her husband, Pete, of Richburg, S.C. She also has five grandsons, Jason and Brent Adams, Perry, Reid and McCree Troutman, and three great-grandchildren, Ciarra, Grayson and Caleb.
Memorials may be made to "For the Next Generation Fund" at First Baptist Church, 481 Hood Center Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
