Ethanol plant announcement expected in Chester

East Coast Ethanol, LLC is expected to announce the construction of a new $230 million corn-based ethanol production facility near Chester.

The announcement is expected in a 10 a.m. conference at the Chester County War Memorial Building Tuesday, according to a press release.

The new plant is expected to produce 110-million gallons per year at the corn-based ethanol plant.

This grassroots U.S. based firm is expected to hire more than 40 employees locally and generate over $100,000,000 annually to the local economy.
