Grissom-Estes

Julie Elizabeth Estes and Brian Keith Grissom were married October 3, 2009, at Mount Hebron United Methodist Church, West Columbia, S.C.

The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ben Barnett. A reception followed at the Corley Mill House and Gardens.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morry Estes of Columbia, S.C., is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Manford Mahaffey of Anderson, S.C., and the late Mr. Grady Estes Jr. and Mrs. Ida Estes of Rock Hill, S.C. She is employed by Benefit Cosmetics in Pineville, N.C.

The groom is the son of Mr. Edward Grissom of Rock Hill, and the late Mrs. Terry Ann LeNeave Grissom. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles LeNeave, the late Mrs. Nellie P. Grissom and the late Mr. B.B. Grissom of Henderson, N.C. He is employed by Garland Construction, is owner of Carolina Inspections and attends Winthrop University. Liza Estes, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor.

Three of the bride's attendants were Pam Garland, Lori Sneed and Crystal Yonce, sisters of the groom. Other attendants were Katie Gordon, Melanie Hensley, Kristin Jordan and Cindi Womer.

The junior bridesmaid was Ivy Yonce and the flower girl was Paityn Jordan.

The bride and groom's son, Ian Keith Grissom, was the ring bearer.

Edward Grissom, the groom's father, served as best man.

Groomsmen in the wedding party were the bride's brother, Garry Estes, Justin Buddin, Derek Ford, Tim Garland, Quon Holley, Jeremy Krech and Robbie Pittman.

Ushers were Nick Baker, Mark Epps, Sam Fuller, Jerry Lee, Justin Rainey and Blake Smith.

The couple took a wedding trip to Key West, Fla. They will reside in Rock Hill.
