Poulter-Winters

Ebenezer Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, S.C., was the setting Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, for the marriage of Griffin Elizabeth Winters and Joshua Scott Poulter, both of Rock Hill.

The Revs. Dr. R. Boyce Wilson and Dr. Larry R. Parker officiated at the 3 p.m., ceremony and Mrs. Jane Kimbrell directed the ceremony.

A reception followed at The City Club of Rock Hill.

The bride, daughter of Russell and Harriett Winters of Rock Hill, graduated in May, 2009 from the paralegal program at York Technical College. She is employed with the law firm of D'Agostino and D'Agostino in Tega Cay, S.C.

The bride's grandparent's are Harry and Martha Broadwell of Rock Hill and Herbert and Eleanor Winters of Schroon Lake, N.Y. She is the great-granddaughter of Marie Winters of Modena, N.Y., and the late Herbert Winters.

The bridegroom is the son of Sherry Styles of Rock Hill and the grandson of Bill and Betty Smith of Monroe, N.C.

He recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps Reserve Unit and is currently employed by Winters Electric, Inc., Rock Hill.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Honor attendants were Alex Ford of Rock Hill and Melody Conley of New Jersey. Flower girl was Rose Margaret Broadwell of York, S.C.

Best man was the bridegroom's friend, Zack Becknell of Rock Hill.

Groomsman was Brett Davis of Rock Hill.

Ushers were Chris Glosson of Charlotte, N.C., Jonathan Karakel of Lake Wylie, S.C., and David Winters of Rock Hill.

Ring bearer was Noah Broadwell escorted by Christian Broadwell, both of York, S.C.

After a honeymoon at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the newlyweds will make their home in Rock Hill.
