Jonahville AME Zion Church, Huntersvile, N.C., was the setting Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, for the marriage of Serenity Ter’ri Proctor and Ivan LeMarc Nealy, both of Charlotte, N.C.

The Rev. Mark A. Evans officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Wilma L. Proctor of Asheville, N.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Doris Nealy of Washington, D.C.
