Dooley-Munsey

Alyson Nicole Munsey and Brian Justin Dooley were married Oct. 24, 2009, in Clover, S.C. The setting was the front lawn of the home of the bride’s aunts, Betty S. Love and Peggy O. Moore.

The Rev. Harold Hutchinson officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. A buffet and dance followed at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scott Munsey of Clover. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Martin “Buck” Dulin Sr., of Clover, the late Mr. Bishop Ross Love Jr. and Mrs. Walker Dewey Munsey Jr. of Clover and the late Mr. Munsey.

Alyson earned a surgical technology degree from York Technical College in 2008. She is a private caregiver and is employed by Courtney’s BBQ in Clover.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wayne Dooley of York, S.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Gillispie Dooley of Roanoke, Va., and the late Mr. Houston Willis Dooley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Luther Joel Moore.

Brian attended York Technical College and is an electrician with American Eagle Wheel in York.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Lee Erin Courtney of Clover.

Bridesmaids were Brooke Elana Munsey, sister-in-law of the bride, of Clover, Samantha Danielle Rumfelt of York and Amanda Rice Woomer of Gastonia, N.C.

Flower girl was Parker Ann Dooley, daughter of the couple, of Clover.

Best man was the bridegroom’s father.

Groomsmen were Jeffery Wayne Dooley, brother of the groom, of Dameron, Md., Christopher Scott Munsey, brother of the bride, of Clover, and Wade Alan Woomer of Gastonia.

Ring bearer was Collier Bennett Dooley, the groom’s son, of Cramerton, N.C.

Pianist was Betty Hodge of Gastonia.

Program and guest register attendants were Brooks Jane Love and Sarah Emily Love, cousins of the bride, of Clover.

Floral arrangements were designed by Cathy Bell Gibson, the bride’s aunt; Barbara Bailey Love, created the wedding cake; photographer was Amy Mullinax Adams; and Beth Alexander Harrell served as the wedding director.

The newlyweds honeymooned at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla., and they will make their home in Clover.
