Nabor Sanchez Segura and Courtney Sanchez of Lancaster are the parents of a son, Cristian Emmanuel Sanchez, born Jan. 3, 2009. Mrs. Sanchez is the daughter of John L. Owens of Waxhaw, N.C., and Barbara Owens of Lancaster. Paternal grandparents are Juan Sanchez Romero of Cuitlahuac, Veracruz, Mexico and the late Juliana Segura Contreras.

Bridget Wright and Tarryl Meeks of York are the parents of a son, Xavier Isaac Wright Meeks, born Dec. 27, 2008. Ms. Wright is the daughter of Joelean and Isaac Wright of York. Paternal grandparents are Tina and Richard Lowry of York.
