AME ZION

Cedar Grove AME Zion Church, East Chapel Road, Rock Hill: Men of Zion in concert, 5 p.m. Nov. 14.

Chestnut Grove AME Zion Church: The congregation will hold Sunday worship services at Living Water Outreach Ministry at the corner of Hudson and Lancaster streets in Chester for the next six weeks until the move to the new sanctuary.

Clinton Chapel AME Zion, California Street, York: Poor Man's Supper for Veteran's Day, 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Menu: stew beef and rice, a vegetable, bread, dessert and drink. Plates are $5. Carry-out available. All veterans attending will get a gift. Proceeds to the Willing Workers outreach ministry.

Liberty Hill AME Zion Church, Lake Wylie: William James Isom Jr. will give his initial sermon at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mount Moriah AME Zion Church, Richburg: Youth group movie night, 6:45 tonight to see “The Wiz.” Refreshments served.

Clover ARP Church, Kings Mountain Street, Clover: 20th anniversary celebration of the Wednesday prayer luncheon ministry, noon Nov. 11. The interdenominational ministry offers a free lunch, prayer time, singing and hearing God's word. About 50 people attend each week. Open to the community.

Ebenezer ARP Church, Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill: Ordination and installation of Dr. Mel Wines as associate pastor, 5 p.m. Sunday. Second Mile Club, 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Salt and Light Day, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Nov. 14 for service and outreach projects. Family youth group, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15.

First ARP Church, East White Street, Rock Hill: Baptism, 11 a.m. Sunday. HARPs annual Myrtle Beach trip, 9 a.m. Monday. Middle school super weekend begins at 6 p.m. Friday with dinner and a movie at the church.

Neely's Creek ARP Church, Rock Hill: Nominations for elders and deacons are due Sunday. The Cherub Choir will sing at 11 a.m. worship Sunday and present more than 120 cans of food for HOPE and the church food pantry.

Tirzah ARP Church, Mount Gallant Road, York: TirzahFest, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today with gift baskets, baked goods, canned goods, casseroles, soups and a silent auction. Breakfast biscuits will be sold from 8 to 11 a.m., and a turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
