Skip Schiel, a photojournalist from Cambridge, Mass., will give a multimedia presentation, "Bethlehem the Holy," at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the fellowship hall at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church.

The slide show is about the current situation in Bethlehem and the 25-foot-high wall that is being built through the town.

Schiel is an international photojournalist from Cambridge, Mass., who has spent several years in the Middle East, focusing on Arab-Israeli relationships.

Schiel has traveled and photographed in the Israel-Palestine region over a five-year period, usually three months each year. Using photographs and stories, he will present his experiences from his last journey to this troubled area in January 2008.

The free program is being sponsored by the church and the Global Mission Committee of Providence Presbytery. For details, call Helen and Bill Guiness at 803-366-7029 or Barbara Kurz at 803-329-7362.
