St. John's United Methodist Church in Rock Hill will host its annual fundraiser, Fall Festival with Flair, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, 321 S. Oakland Ave.
More than 50 vendors will offer products including children's clothing, crafts, cosmetics, fine art, jewelry and more. St. J's Cafe will sell sausage biscuits for breakfast and vegetable soup for lunch. Thw event is sponsored by the United Methodist Women. Proceeds support local mission projects.

The Yorkville Artists' Guild will have its annual members' art dinner and auction at 6 p.m. Nov. 6 in the Magnolia Room of Laurel Creek in Rock Hill. The event is catered by Outback Steakhouse. Cost is $20 per person or $35 for a couple, and includes the auction, dinner, drinks and a raffle ticket. A drawing of the tickets, available for a $1 donation each, will be held for framed originals by guild members Joe Zdenek, Larry Blackwell and Jack Bolin. Equestrian Ministries Saddle Club will host a family fun day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at B&B Arena off S.C. 55 on Beamguard Road in Clover. The event will include games for people and horses. Bring your horse or just come for the fun. A drill team performance will be at noon and gospel music starts at 3 p.m. Concessions will be available; bring a chair. The fourth annual Mission of Mercy, a Southern gospel music event to benefit Hospice & Community Care, will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Sullivan Middle School auditorium in Rock Hill. Performers include Brian Free & Assurance and The Dove Brothers. The event is being presented through the York Lodge No. 385 of AFM. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. The Clover Junior Shag Club will host its third annual fall party from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Camp Thunderbird in Lake Wylie. Beginner and intermediate shag lessons will be offered, and snacks, soft drinks, pizza and free shag shoes will be available. This event is free, but donations are requested. York Shag Club, Rock Hill Shag Club, Ellen Taylor Foundation for Junior Shaggers and Courtney's Barbecue will sponsor the event. Galleria fall festival will be Saturday at mall
The Rock Hill Galleria's fall festival will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the mall. Admission is free.
Events include free pumpkins to the first 350 children, pumpkin crafts, a Passport to Prizes giveaway, Halloween costume contest for adults and kids, two magic shows provided by Hocus Pocus, free train rides, free hayrides, booths and interactive games for all ages, a giant obstacle course and food and music.
Registration for the costume contest will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the information tent. The contest is open to children and adults. The contest judging will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Happy Travelers will tour Williamsburg, Va., Dec. 2 to 4 and visit Colonial Williamsburg, Berkeley Plantation and a local winery. Other highlights include the Crowne Plaza's Celebration of Trees and Newport News Park's Celebration in Lights. Dinners include a traditional colonial dinner and a holiday meal with Dickens-style entertainment at the historic Boxwood Inn. The trip includes two nights' lodging at the Crowne Plaza, two buffet breakfasts, two dinners, taxes, standard gratuities, motorcoach transportation and luggage handling. A celebration of the new Glencairn Garden area and a tribute to veterans will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 6 at the garden in Rock Hill. The event will honor men and women of the military with a patriotic program featuring music and ceremony. The veterans garden will be a lasting tribute to past, present and future members of the military. The event is free. Attendees are asked to park at the Garden Sanctuary Church, 831 Cedar St., Rock Hill, and ride the shuttle bus to the event. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be changed to Nov. 13. workshop on Friday
The York County Library will host a library introduction workshop for children ages 7 to 9 and their parents from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday or 4 to 5 p.m. Nov. 10 at 138 E. Black St., Rock Hill.
