A Decadent Dreams chocolate festival will be from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Williams & Fudge site at the Cotton Factory at Dave Lyle Boulevard and White Street in downtown Rock Hill.
Proceeds will benefit Keystone substance abuse services to individuals and families in the community. The event will include kid-friendly activities, a chocolate fountain, demonstrations, chocolate spa treatments, eating competitions and chocolates to sample.
Participants in the event will include local chocolatiers and chocolate artisans. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door, with children younger than 5 admitted free.

York County's Party In Pink group is having a benefit Tuesday that will feature international interior designer Sally Morse with refreshments and prizes. The benefit, called The Magic Three's Of Design, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Diana's Blinds and Designs showroom at 1661 Katy Lane, Fort Mill. Seating is limited. Morse is a speaker and author in the interior design field. Party In Pink promotes early detection and breast cancer treatment for uninsured or underinsured women of York County. Tickets are $20 at the business or by calling 803-548-4440.
Cornerstone United Methodist Church will have its annual cookie walk from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 2697 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill. The cost is $6 per box of cookies. Jewelry, crafts and beauty products will also be sold. This event is sponsored by the Cornerstone United Methodist Women of the church.
A Brunswick stew sale will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Catawba United Methodist Church, 4785 College St., Catawba. Carry-out quarts of stew will be $7 each. Dine-in costs are $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for children younger than 3. The dine-in cost includes a drink and dessert. All proceeds benefit local church missions.
The annual fall festival of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Clover will start at 7 a.m. Saturday with a yard sale. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and includes homemade soup, pinto beans, slaw, cornbread or crackers, dessert and tea or coffee. Lunch is all you can eat and the cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children. The church is at 1550 St. Paul Church Road. The festival is sponsored by the United Methodist Women.

The city of Rock Hill will present these events:
A free celebration of the new Glencairn Garden area and a tribute to veterans at 10 a.m. Friday at the gardens. The event will honor the men and women of the military with a patriotic program featuring music, ceremony and a few surprises. The Veterans Garden will be a lasting tribute to past, present and future members of the military. Attendees are asked to park at the Garden Sanctuary Church, 831 Cedar St., Rock Hill, and ride the shuttle bus to the event. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be Nov. 13. Chef Rhonda Stewart will conduct a gingerbread house workshop Saturday at Paula Gillman and Co., 295 Herlong Ave., Rock Hill. The workshop is in preparation for the fourth annual gingerbread house contest during ChristmasVille Rock Hill. First prize is a $100 cash award. They include a Founders Day Celebration at 2 p.m. Saturday and worship at 8 a.m. Sunday. Other events include a meet and greet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bentley's Gin Mill, 1940 Cinema Drive, Rock Hill, and the project reassurance A Star is Born from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at Ryan's Restaurant, 2367 Dave Lyle Blvd., Rock Hill.
