n The eighth annual Tega Cay Bash, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Tega Cay Golf Club and Community Center, 1 Molokai Drive, Fort Mill. This year's theme is football fever. n Tega Cay's seventh annual baseball night at the Knights Baseball Stadium, 2280 Deerfield Drive, Fort Mill. A tailgate party will be at 5 p.m., pregame activities will be at 6:45 p.m. and the game starts at 7:15 p.m. Bob Cullen, citizen of the year, will throw the first pitch. The evening will end with fireworks. Neighborhood groups are encouraged to join with the Vintage Club, fire department, Lions and other participating groups. Take in the Bard
The Young Yorkville Players will present "The Shakespeare Project" and "The Fifteen Minute Hamlet" at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. July 27.
In "The Shakespeare Project," adapted by James Zager, the most famous scenes and monologues are taken from a selection of Shakespearean works and presented in a contemporary style with new interpretations.
In "Fifteen Minute Hamlet," Tom Stoppard's version takes the most famous and best- loved lines from Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and condenses them into a hilarious 15-minute version.

Bringing It To The Neighborhood, an event with live music and youth praise dancers, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Southland Park community, 1000 Winchester Drive, Rock Hill. Christian singles mingle
Clover First Baptist Church invites single and single-again Christian adults of all denominations to a summer singles mingle at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 117 S. It's happening at library
All York County libraries offer a free vacation reading program for ages 3 to 12 through Aug. 1. For details, visit www.yclibrary.org or call 981-5888. Children can keep track of minutes read or being read to and will receive prizes when they meet goals.
Programs this weekend will be Teen Bling Jewelry Workshop, for rising sixth- to 12th-graders, 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the York County Library, 138 E. Black St., Rock Hill. Earth Fare reaching out
Earth Fare is partnering with York's Richardson Animal Rescue to raise awareness about pet adoption in York County with the following events:
n A "Dollar Dogs" cook out will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 9 in the Earth Fare parking lot, 725 Cherry Road, Rock Hill. Event activities include crafts for kids, live music, pet contests such as longest tail, best dressed and pet/guardian look alike and more. All proceeds from the event will go to Richardson Animal Rescue. Five percent of store sales on Aug. 9 will be donated to Richardson Animal Rescue.
n Adoption Days, Richarson Animal Clinic will have adoptable pets available from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 14 and 28 and 11 a.m. to 2 p .m. Aug. 23. at Earth Fare, 725 Cherry Road, Rock Hill.

Gospel Skate at Kate's
The 2008 Gospel Skate Tour will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Kate's Skating Rink, 1530 Celanese Road, Rock Hill. The "safe night" event is sponsored by Christ Deliverance Church, Praise 100.9 FM and Tonya Rivens and is open to the public. Admission is $4. Proceeds benefit the skating rink.
