'Journey through America' at concert
The Annie Moses Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at McCelvey Center, 212 E. Jefferson St., York. Green Street celebrating holiday with cookout
Operation Help One Another will have its annual Green Street "Happy Thanksgiving" community cookout from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Moore Street Park, 271 E. Moore St., Rock Hill. Everyone is welcome. The event will include free food and games.

Lend a hand to local assistance groups
These assistance efforts are offered for the needy:
• The Second Harvest Mobile Pantry will be at Hermon Presbyterian Church, 107 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, beginning at 10 a.m. today. The ministry, hosted by Hermon Presbyterian and St. Mary's Catholic churches and Freedom Temple Ministries, will distribute food to people in need. This is the final site for 2008. Second Harvest is a ministry of Providence Presbytery, and volunteers are welcome. Congregational sponsors for 2009 are being recruited.
