Rock Hill Community Theatre presents "Guys and Dolls Jr.," June 8, 9 and 10, South Pointe High School auditorium, 801 Neely Road, Rock Hill, with evening shows at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. Tickets, $12 adults and $10 students and seniors. Battle of Beckhamville Revolutionary War re-enactment, June 8, 9 and 10, original battlefield at S.C. 97 and S.C. 99 near Great Falls. Event begins with Scotch-Irish Heritage Reception and dinner at 7 p.m. June 8, Great Falls War Memorial Building, featuring historian Charles Baxley. Dinner tickets, $25. Camps featuring living history demonstrations and a battle reenactment begin at 9 a.m. June 9 and 10. "Between Taste and Travesty: Costume Designs by William Ivey Long," through Oct. 14, Cameron Art Museum, Wilmington, N.C. Celebrates the creative genius of former Rock Hill resident Long, a four-time Tony Award winner who has designed costumes for more than 50 Broadway shows. Saturday, June 9

Kings Mountain State Park living history demonstrations, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 and 23 at the park on S.C. 161 northwest of York. Volunteers will demonstrate daily activities of the 1850s; blacksmith and woodwright skills demonstrated from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Details, (803) 222-3209.

Splash Dash, 8 a.m. June 9, Camp Thunderbird/River Hills Plantation, Lake Wylie, with 10K/5K race and 5K walk, sponsored by the Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce.
