CLOVER — A morning accident claimed the life of a Rock Hill man, officials said. Tinh Lee Phan, 39, 1449 Fieldcrest Circle in Rock Hill, died today of internal injuries in the chest area, York County Deputy Cornorer Ev Amick said.

“He crossed the center and hit a Dodge van,” Amick said about Phan, a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. “He died on impact.”

The driver of the van was taken by ambulance to Gaston Memorial Hospital, Amick said. For more details, read Friday's Herald.
