FORT MILL -- For the second straight night, the Charlotte Knights were victorious over the visiting Pawtucket Red Sox, winning 4-2.
Charlotte got a great pitching performance from starter Charlie Haeger (4-4) who earned his fourth win of the season.
Haeger went 6 1-3 innings, allowing just one hit on the night as he outdueled Red Sox starter Clay Buchholz (0-1). It took awhile for Haeger to get run support as the Knights picked up four runs in the 6th inning. Jason Bourgeois came up with a big RBI double in that inning.
