Tigers Gameday

The (Columbia) StateFebruary 7, 2009

Florida State Seminoles at No. 10 Clemson Tigers

• When: 7 p.m.

• Where: Littlejohn Coliseum, Clemson

• TV: FSN (Cable channel 29 in Rock Hill)

• Records: Florida State 17-5, 4-3 ACC; Clemson 19-2, 5-2

• Coaches: Leonard Hamilton (340-306 in 22 seasons overall, 140-98 in seven seasons at Florida State); Oliver Purnell (369-261 in 21 seasons overall, 113-70 in six seasons at Clemson)

THREE THINGS TO WATCH

• Oliver Purnell is a big believer in teams drawing on past experiences, but these Tigers have arguably never handled the euphoria and back-slapping stemming from Wednesday's clobbering of Duke.

• Florida State has exceeded expectations to this point, but the Seminoles' body of work away from home is hardly inspiring. It owns two ACC wins at N.C. State and Virginia while losing at Miami.

• No ACC team relies on a single player for its offensive production than FSU. Senior guard Toney Douglas accounts for 29.6 percent of the offense.
