Northwestern locks spot in state championship

For the second year in a row, Northwestern will be playing for a state championship.

They defeated South Pointe 24-6 at District Three Stadium Friday night.

Northwestern will face either Goose Creek or Berkeley next Friday at 8 p.m. at Columbia's Williams-Brice Stadium.

First quarter:

NW: Justin Worley 11-yard pass to Robert Joseph. (Ryan Foster kick) 3:23

Northwestern 7, South Pointe 0
