As we reported last week, the Panthers placed tender offers on 14 restricted free agents, tenders that might be moot under a new collective bargaining agreement.
The list is headlined by RB DeAngelo Williams and DE Charles Johnson, though both could be unrestricted if any new CBA includes the old four-year threshold for attaining that status.
Also tendered were TE Jeff King, CB Richard Marshall, LB James Anderson, S Marcus Hudson, QB Matt Moore, TE Dante Rosario, DT Derek Landri, CB C.J. Wilson, K Rhys Lloyd, LB Jordan Senn, WR David Clowney and LS J.J. Jansen.
They also extended offers to six exclusive rights free agents: QB Keith Null, WR Charly Martin, DTs Ed Johnson and Nick Hayden, G C.J. Davis and LB Nic Harris.
They did not tender deals to five players who could have been RFAs: S Gerald Alexander, LBs Jamar Williams and Abdul Hodge and OL Rob Petitti and Chris Morris.
We'll have more (including an explanation of how it all works) later.
