Opportunistic Lewisville gets victory

Coming into Friday night's game, the McBee Panthers and Lewisville Lions had combined for one win. Both teams showed why, as Lewisville had 17 penalties for 107 yards and McBee had 5 turnovers. The turnovers proved to be more costly, and Lewisville prevailed 19-13.

Twice, McBee fumbled inside the Lewisville 20. The second fumble was more costly, as Rashod Reed fumbled at the Lewisville 4 with 7:06 left. Reed was also stopped by Quentin McKnight at the Lewisville 40 with 2:30 left on 4th-and-5. Lewisville then picked up two first downs to run out the clock.

Quodarius Holloman had 23 rushes for 125 yards and a touchdown for McBee, while Omar Talford had 22 rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown for Lewisville.
