The Chester County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man involved in an early morning armed robbery of a Richburg's Motel 6.

Deputies responded to the Motel 6 at 2912 Jeff Davis Page Drive, located off Interstate 77 at Hwy. 9, around 1:25 a.m. Friday, said Detective Jamie Mitchell.

A armed man entered the office, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, Mitchell said. The clerk gave him the money and the gunman left.

Deputies are looking for a slender, tall black man who was wearing a blue bandanna across his face, a hooded jacket and gloves. He appeared to be wearing a wig, Mitchell said.
