Travis Scott Hunt

A Rock Hill man is accused of stabbing another man after asking him for a ride Friday.

Travis Scott Hunt, 20, is charged with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted murder, according to police documents. He was arrested Friday and is in Moss Justice Center awaiting a bond hearing.

The charges stem from an incident early Friday morning. A 20-year-old man said he and a friend were at the Money at 115 S. Cherry Road waiting on another friend when a man approached them and offered $5 if they would give him a ride, according to a Rock Hill police report. After they pulled into the parking lot of Oakwood Acres Park on Montclair Avenue, the man pulled out a knife and said he also had a gun.

All three got out of the car while the man with the knife, identified as Hunt, tried to make them "tie up to" the other, the report states. One of the victims struggled with him and was stabbed several times.

The victim was taken to Piedmont Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
