A Rock Hill man is accused of inappropriately touching a minor on several occasions last year, police say.
Leonard Eugene Jenkins, 48, has been charged with three counts of committing a lewd act on a child younger than 16, according to police documents. He is being held in Moss Justice Center on a $75,000 bond.
According to a York County Sheriff's Office report, a Fort Mill man reported that a family member said Jenkins had touched her while she was in the pool at their home. She said it happened multiple times. The man also believed a 16- and 9-year-old were touched by Jenkins between May and October.
The man reported the incidents in January, the report states. At the time, he contacted the suspect's family and came to the sheriff's office with the suspect's wife and one of the victims.
The girl then denied any inappropriate touching, the report states. The man said he believes his the girl is lying about not being touched.
After an investigation, Jenkins was arrested and booked Tuesday.
