A Rock Hill man and woman identified as boyfriend and girlfriend were charged with criminal domestic violence Wednesday morning after the woman told police she argued with her boyfriend after he allegedly cheated on her, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The woman told officers responding to an alleged assault on Eisenhower Road that she had argued with the boyfriend, both had gotten drunk the night before, and she awoke to her boyfriend yelling at her because she was in bed with him and another friend.
The woman said she struck the boyfriend with a closed fist several times in the arm, the report states, then after the argument moved outside, the boyfriend allegedly pushed her down.
The woman, during transport to jail, told officers if she had known she was going to get arrested for hitting the man in the arm, she would have punched him in the mouth.
