ROCK HILL — A Rock Hill man called police after a dog he was caring for was hung on its tether.
A York County Sheriff's deputy responded to the call on Indian Trail in Rock Hill, where the dog was on a lead on a runner in the backyard, according to a sheriff's office report.
The deputy found the dog with the cable twisted and wrapped around the dog's neck and collar, which apparently cut off the dog's air supply, the report said.
While removing the lead, the deputy noticed that the lead was wrapped in the collar.
A victim's report form was issued.
