ROCK HILL — Two men, one with a gun, abducted a man from a car wash on Saluda Street around 6 p.m. Wednesday, Rock Hill police say.
Officers were dispatched after the 47-year-old man told police two men instructed him to get into a red pickup truck with a trailer.
The man said the suspects drove him around the Southland neighborhood then to Pendleton Street, according to a Rock Hill police report.
When the car stopped, the man noticed the suspects were distracted so he jumped out of the truck, according to the report.
He said he ran to a house on Pendleton Street and asked the homeowner to call police. The victim told police he does not know the suspects, but knows where they live.
