ROCK HILL — adouglas@heraldonline.com
Two men with a handgun robbed a Rock Hill man as he sat on the side of the road, stranded without gas.
The victim told police two men pulled up behind him near the intersection of Celanese and Ebinport roads, offering assistance.
One of the robbers then pointed a gun at the victim, demanding his wallet, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.
The victim gave them his wallet and they drove away in a dark-colored vehicle, heading toward Interstate 77, the report states.
No cash or credit cards were in the wallet, the man told police. The thieves did get away with the man’s driver’s license and other documents.
