Report: Parents took teens to Rock Hill church to fight after Facebook argument

Published: September 12, 2012

— Two Rock Hill parents apparently escorted several teenagers to a church parking lot so they could fight after an argument on Facebook.

Two girls, both 17, a boy, 13, and one of the girls’ mothers, a 33-year-old woman, met at the church on Firetower Road in Rock Hill, where a teenage boy’s father, 44, came with him and another teen for the fight, according to a York County Sheriff’s report.

During the tussle, the father got out his truck when his son began to lose the fight, waved his gun around and then drove his car into the side of the older woman’s car, the report states.

The father told police his son ran away from the fight. The father said he was attacked by the older woman, who hit his car with a crutch. The man then admitted that he did drive his car into the woman’s car.

No arrests were made.
