Police: Man jumped, robbed outside Rock Hill restaurant

— A Rock Hill man says two men jumped and robbed him while he was walking in front of the Minute Grill Wednesday night.

Around 9:30 p.m., the man, 48, said two men grabbed his arm, punched him in his ribs and then took his Samsung cell phone that was on a belt clip, according to a Rock Hill police report. They also reached into his left front pocket and stole $28.

The victim said two other men stood by and watched, the report states. He said one of the robbers was wearing a red and white shirt, and the others were wearing white shirts.

After the robbery, the men fled toward apartments on Crawford Road, the report states. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
