ROCK HILL — After receiving a text message from his ex-girlfriend, a Rock Hill man says he went to her house only to have another man point a pistol at him.
The 39-year-old man told police that his ex-girlfriend sent him a message on Tuesday, asking him to come over to her Chandler Drive house, according to a Rock Hill police report. When he got there around 6:30 p.m., he opened the screen door to knock on the door.
That’s when a man opened the door and pointed a chrome pistol at him, the report states. The man said he backed away slowly and walked away. He called police on Wednesday but officers could not find the gun-wielding man at the house.
The man said he recognized the man and doesn’t know why he would pull a gun on him. Police did not have enough probable cause to issue an arrest.
