Indians to face Cougars on Saturday

Westminister Catawba travels to High Point Christian Academy on Saturday for a 7 p.m. game, seeking its third win of the season. The Indians are 2-4 overall while the Cougars are 3-3.

Westminister Catawba defeated Forsyth Country Day (N.C.) last week, 40-13.

The team learned this week seniors Nate Casey and Jake Wenthworth team have been selected for the 2012 Oasis All-Star Shrine Classic. The game features players from North and South Carolina independent schools.

Entering Saturday’s game, Casey has 68 carries for 532 yards and has scored 38 points (six touchdowns and two 2-point conversions.)

Wentworth has 21 carries for 136 yards and seven receptions for 101 yards. He has scored 34 points (three touchdowns, 10 point-after kicks and two 2-point conversions).
